Thumbs up Kickass Kill Bill Vol 2 posters

http://www.aintitcool.com/image/kbp2.jpg

And the one-sheet teaser is right here:

Much nicer then the rather bland Vol 1 posters. And I still say "The House of the Blue Leaves" from Vol. 1 was one of the best action sequences of 2003.

well actually since they were technically one film anyway mere weeks prior to release of volume 1, i guess it makes sense that it doesn't say that

they're being tricksy with the release - Vol 1 on DVD Tuesday 13th and Vol 2 in theatres Friday the 16th.

Didn't Japan get the colourized version of it?

Eh, anyway, I'm a fan of superfluous use of black and white - looked kinda cool if nothing else.

seriously, go ahead - That wasn't a mistype on my part, I was making a golem refference. It's worked its way into my net lingo at least, dunno if I've used it in real life yet.

Are you guys saying the whole movie was in black and white? I seem to remember it being in colour or is that just because I'm here in Canada?

yeah, fuckin MPAA can suck my ass.

however, the b & w doesn't really bother me. Because when I first saw it, I didn't know the reason it went into black and white was because of the rating. I just thought "Hey cool, Tarantino is doing more stylistic wanking. Rock on." I mean, the film already had a 13 minute anime sequence, so I thought the b & w stuff fit.

Like you said an amazingly looking very colourful film, but the b & w stuff didn't seem intrusive to me, instead it just felt like another visual trick Tarantino was throwing in there to look cool. And I. in my ignorance, thought that worked.

Now someone explain to me why the subtitles are offset when the Bride is getting her sword from the Master. That reference, I don't understand.

the big battle before Uma kills Lucy Lui. When hundreds of those kato guys come in wearing masks and she rips out the dude's eye and it goes into black and white for about 5 minutes. that's the black and white sequence.
