The way he said that you didn't 'need' to attend, coupled with the fact that the other guy is in there and they don't seem to mind makes it sound like it's no big deal.

Yes the programmer was beign an ass. They asked him to leave and he didn't. What can I say? He's a brit.

he he he... nah, he just can be somewhat imposing at times. Otherwise he's a nice bloke.
