sleeping through your class

not always a good thing, but feels soooo good. I had my section meeting this afternoon, set my alarm for it, slept right through it, heard it beeping like 10 later, flipped it off and slept for another two hours. mmm.

so troo. I can never fall asleep when I'm supposed to but the min I need to be anywhere, it's the best sleep ever. In high school I used to fall asleep with my eyes open. craziest thing ever.

sleeping in class is the only way i lived for grade 9, and the first semester of 10. because i was up all night, every night doing drugs and whatnot.

well, this morning was fucked.

I set my alarm for 6:30 so I get up and turn the alarm off and figure I'll just lay down for 5 min. to wake up (dumbass idea) but I doze off. But then I have a dream (didn't know it was a dream) that school was cancelled due to snow and I didn't have to go. But then I wake up and its 7:30 and I have almost no time to get ready.

it was fucked up.

Oh, okay. I thought you meant sleeping through class while you were sitting IN the class. I get it.

I remember sleeping through some of my high school classes... I also remembered I may have snored and drooled at times. Except for parts of my body getting pins and needles, those were the times. I was so sleep deprived in HS. I hated that.

You know, I find it pretty unbelievable that people IN COLLEGE SLEEP THROUGH THEIR CLASSES. It's like, hay, it's not high school. You can leave, you know. But they paid money for the class... I just don't understand it. No matter how much I don't want to be in a college class, I just force myself to.

I went to school once and intended to take a quick nap before my first class (we had a lounge with comfy chairs) and ended up sleeping there the whole damn day. I slept through ALL of them. That was a pretty dumb day.

I used to fall asleep in class all the time... it didn't matter whether the class was interesting or not... Political Science, Criminology, some Psychology... at least I placed myself at the back of the room when this started happening..

sometimes i would drool on my notes (I only drool if i'm not laying down) and then i figured it would have to stop.
