Default crying in public

yeah. i wont bother you with why i've been feeling this way lately, but this morning when i got on the bus to school i was feeling kinda sad so i put dawn till dusk in my cd player 'cause i thought it might cheer me up.
it didn't. instead mcis made my eyes wet and when tonite, tonite came on i really had to fight myself not to start crying right there.
thankfully i didn't. it would've been so embarrassing

as is this, i suppose

i'm such an o-boarder

You could easily have just pretended you were tired or that something was in your eye.

You could have pretended someone or your pet died or whatever. That brings up an interesting story.

I'll just paste:

Dead> my boss called up one of his assistants today that was in germany visiting her father
Dead> to ask when she was coming back
Dead> but she wasnt home
Dead> and her father answered
Dead> and said she was shopping
Dead> then later today she called up my boss and said she was out shopping and when she came back her father was dead
Dead> of a heart attack
Dead> and my boss told her to go visit him in the first place
Dead> or she wouldnt have been there
Dead> she was gonna go during the summer

thats not embarrassing, its very aimable. girls crying can either be beautiful or hideous, but thats cute and sincere. by the way: i saw this stunning beautiful sight today: the subway was down so they had shuttle buses going along a really busy street, so the bus would move forward like 20 feet and stop for a few seconds, etc etc. out on the street, walking steadfastly in the same direction, was the girl crying as she walked. not like bawling but with a red face and kinda little sobs. so im standing there in a crowded bus peeking beyond peoples' shoulders, while the bus goes the same speed as her, then stops. she walks ahead, then the bus passes her, still crying. the bus stops and she walks by again. so we quietly danced like this for what seemed like ever until the bus stopped, she went ahead, and disappeared. presumably into a building or whatever. it was one of those moments when you kinda have a subtle out of body feeling, like your watching yourself frozen on a bus being shuffled back and forth watching her cry. it was also one of those moments when the inner sensitive boy in me felt like crying too or going out there and giving her a hug or something feminine enough to be called a fag by any other more macho guy. god, i actually miss that moment

Well maybe I can be more clear if you guys didn't get it.

My boss was going to a conference last week for a week. So he suggested that his assistant go visit her father in Germany since my boss was away anyway. And otherwise she would have gone to visit during the summer.

So my boss got back and he called her up to see when she was returning. And her father answered. And said she was out shopping. So my boss talked to the father and then hung up.

Then a few hrs later my boss got a call from his assistant in Germany saying she was out shopping and when she got home her father had died of a heart attack.

So I guess that's the story.

Yeah, I hate crying in public. Back when I was in college things got me down sometimes and I could get in terrible moods. One day I decided I could cure my awful mood with a visit to the Van Gogh & Gaugin exhibit at the Art Institute. Well, I wasn't thinking about the fact that poor Van Gogh was a total nutcase and that reading about his mental illness and thinking about it while viewing moving works like Starry Night probably wasn't the most cheery of all activities. I ended up wandering around the exhibit crying like a moron. I think I left pretty soon after that started, but people were definitely looking.

I hope your situation improves. Mine is much better. Hurrah for graduation and good boyfriends.

I think the point was that she wouldn't have got to see him if she hadn't gone on her boss' suggestion, so in a way it's a good thing

Exclamation

One of the main weird points was that he talked to the guy just a few minutes before he died and that's pretty freaky. I guess the entire story is weird.

My boss told her to go see him because you never know when something might happen. And then it happened!
