It's definitely one of the songs I was like "LAME!" when I was 14 but now I totally fucking love it. It's such a great song.

I don't remember what book or movie I saw/read this line in ... God, what was it. Either way, the line was, "Remember, one always loves the other more." Oh! Nowhere in Africa! Great movie, great advice.

Love sucks because when it goes bad you'll feel worse than just being lonely. You'll be all pissed and miserable and want to break some necks etc.

its justly titled, cause that song is one of the most perfect pre-sleep songs. the pre-sleep song is a beautiful genre of music. i dont know about anyone else but anything cat power, adore, or beck's sea change can do me in for good. if youre lucky itll play a role in your subsequent dreams. when they do its lovely. i wish you could capture this and share it. the sleep that follows a wicked pre-sleep song. id bottle it and give it away like a little secret, only to people i trust. god shit like this makes makes me happy

this is one of billy's best and most underrated songs for sure. it's just so honest and pleading and not at all pretentious. you can tell he didn't just sit down with his guitar and think "hokay, time for another lovesong!", this one could only have come from the heart. or the pee pee.
