I'd prefer him to be off the juice. I'd much rather him hit .320, with 35 homers and 120 rbi than be a threat to hit 50 hr and be injured half the season.

The "sad joke" of the testing system wasn't in place last year, just the prospect of, if however many percent of the players randomly selected tested posative, that a system would be put in place. For all players knew last season, MLB coulda put a "once and you're out for good" rule in for this year.

it seems to me the media's in witch hunt mode. i'm not going to try to argue or condemn because i know close to nothing about the subject. if giambi was on them, i'm glad he's off.

:erm. I think Shef didn the juice back in the day but is off it now. H'es not too jacked. You know who Mike & the Mad Dog were talking about juicing (and it makes sense) is Soriano. yea the kid looks like a twig, but he put 35 pounds of solid muscle on last year and went from 15 HR to 40. Either way, whatever. It makes for fun baseball. If they want to have raisin nuts, sucks for them.

Those pics are really misleading. I saw him on TV where they compared and contrasted, and his weight loss wasn't significant. He really just lost fat, and is just as muscular as ever.

unfortunately, that very likely is probably true. they should've been testing the players last year. plus, i'd be very curious to somehow find out the "5%" of players that actually tested positive for steroids(and i wouldn't be shocked either if Sosa was also on the juice, like Bonds and Giambi definately were)
