my dad called earlier and was like, "hey, he's my friend from australia, don't worry, he's nice!"

apparently he was my dad's best friend from Australia when he lived there. yeah. he sailed around the world and ended up in norfolk, and got here, and is staying here for a while until he sails somewhere else.

Is there an exact date for that? Like the five days you mentioned? Because sometimes those indefinite time periods can stretch out for a loooooonnng time....not to get you all paranoid or anything. That sucks that you have to share a bathroom. But he's gotta have some awesome Australian/sailing stories. You should bug him and make him tell you all about them.
