ok, so....

in our assembly we were supposed to watch slides from the China trip, of which I was a part, so I was really excited. Instead, we heard a 40 minute teaser for the ubercrappy symphony.

then, I was supposed to give blood, something that I had been really excited about all week...
doctor: "so, where did you go in china?"
Me:"I couldn't really tell you. we started in shanghai and moved to Beijing?"
doctor: "what was your mode of transportation?"
me: "mostly bus."

five minutes of questions later...

doctor: "you were in a malaria zone, and even though you don't have malaria and have taken all of the proper anit-malaria medication, you have to wait a year to give blood. I hope you can accept this flimsy and ultra lame reason? ok?"

so THAT sucked. Then I sat through the next two periods sulking, seeing everyone ELSE with their bright green "I gave blood" bands.

Then I had to write an in-class essay. jesus.

doesn't that just make you feel good.

what might make you feel better? the amount of money the people who would have been recieving your blood, that you DONATED, would have to pay to use it.

i'm sure it's alot.

*shrug* i can't give blood 'cause every time they come around i forget to take iron pills before hand.. every time I go and get pricked, just to check.. and every time i'm like 2 points too low to do it

I had to write an absolutely brutal test where NOTHING that we were told to study was actual on. That fucking sucked.
