how do i change the proportions of something? not the size, really....i mean...just...make it narrower? i can't find a selection tool for it. and yeah. i don't ever work in photoshop. thanks

select the portion you want to change and then pick free transform from the edit list, or pick transform and pick the specific type of transformation you want.
