Although I have a blind alleigance to all Resident Evil games, I must say that this game...well...wow. I'll just say wow. I've only played an hour into it, and I'm already blown away by the photorealism of the FMVs, the utter freakiness of the setting, and the fact that it adds new elements, including controlling multiple characters.

If only this game was a two-player game, then it'd be perfect.

It's like the perfect game for me. It incorporates action, adventure and RPG elements, plus I've enjoyed the whole "search the haunted house for clues" theme since the days of Shadowgate for the old-school NES (arguably my favorite game from that series).

GTA Vice City can wait. I'll be playing this for the next week or so.

idunno. it's really complicated and i don't like to use cheat guides so. i end up getting lost and forgetting what i'm supposed to do next.

i'll probably get Metroid Prime, yeah. even though that's a lot of money and i don't have a job. i suppose i can shell it out.

I only needed to use a cheat guide twice. Tell me where you're stuck, and I'll help you...at least I'm not a cheat guide...sorta

I tried playing the game in Invisible Mode, hoping I could still auto-aim at monsters...HAH. So much for seeing the director's ending.

I may pick up RE0 at some point down the line but right now all of my attention (and money) is focused on Metroid Prime and Metroid Fusion. These are the games I've been waiting to play since 1994.

Resident Evil 4 is one I'll be keeping a close eye on though. It promises to address the negative aspects of the previous RE games (like poor control and crappy puzzles) and take the series to the next level. Don't get me wrong, I loved the original RE back and the day and I had fun with the GameCube remake but I'm not that enthusiastic about more of the same right now.

oh yeah. i keep forgetting about metroid fusion. i played a little bit of it at Best Buy and it seemed neat, but i was confused by what was going on with the enemies.
