I get nostalgic everytime the seasons change. I mean. If you could call them seasons here in Miami. I can detect a change in the air, though.

I used to be really emotional back in high school... I was always somewhat depressed... and I still am (I'm sure it has something to do with my metabolism). But for high school, I'm pretty sure it was because I never got enough sleep, I usually get somewhere between 4-6, 7 if I'm EXTREMELY lucky, and I held down a part time job over the weekends for two years. Then, I got laid off from my job and I took a break from school, and I got less depressive, except I was a bum and I didn't have a schedule, so I got listless. Then I went to college, and now that I have a schedule and I have all this work to do, and sometimes it's interesting, so I think this has been the happiest I've been. Except it's scary because I have all these adult responsibilities and I have to kind of fend for myself and make all these heavy decisions on what to do with my life.

But anyway. Where do you live again, Suze?
I think it's only when you don't get enough sunlight that you're affected with it. Isn't there enough sunlight for you?

You can always buy those cool antidepressant lights that just... puts sunlight in the room or something. It's just really bright.

i wasn't aware a psychiatrist fulfilled the purpose of a purely biological issue

--so what foods have that vitamin in them? carrots?

--no it's for just about any place in the winter. i mean it's pitch black by 6 pm. that's a tiny minimal amount of su nlight. plus it's been fucking cloudy lately. yeah. plus winter just makes me sad in genereal. plus . yeah. winter just makes me think about death i guess.

but the other morning...i was sitting outside aroung 8 45 am.... the trees were so beautiful. i can't even describe it. i was sitting there in the dirt and i see this tree with just these....i can't even explain. yellow i guess. and orange. and deep red. i know everyone gets autumn but it was breathtaking. and while walking to class this huuuge flock of...i guess hawks....flew over my head. huge flock. it was breathtaking. but yeah. *sigh* and i have one of those cool lights it doesn't seem to help. maybe i should buy a light box but those things are fucking expensive adn would probably make me even more blind. i am so fucking blind i guess from being online too fucking much.
