Smile eating with imperial teen

So two friends and myself went to go see Imperial Teen live this past Monday and they put on a wonderful show. Afterwords we decided to go get some coffee at this"hip" placed called Magnolia here in Austin and to our huge surprise Imperial Teen showed up after the show as well!
It was so cool just seeing them and being with them in the same restaurant.
My friend ended up talking to them but I didn't want to interrupt them while they were eating.

I saw Luna once.
I couldn't stand them.
They were opening for D-Plan or Man Or Astroman?
I don't remember.
Are they just bad live and better on their albums?

I went last year to see Evan Dando, and we didn't get IDed. You get more than one glass of champagne too. The food was OK, but i don't think it was worth $60 for the night. I should've went to see Luna at Knitting Factory.

Depends what their setlist is like that night. the Days of Our Nights is a brilliant record, but they only play a song or two from it. I think that album is Luna at it's best.

i don't think roddy would fit in with faith no more anymore.

and would you go from being the frontman of one band to being the keyboard player of another? that's a bit of a step down.

I think he would, and even if he decided not to go back, Patton could work the keys too.

and if I had the chance to get away from imperial teen, where I shared the vocal duties with 3 equally- horrible vocalists, and playing keyboards for one of the best bands of all time, yeah, I'd do it.

obviously he digs the band or he wouldn't be in it.

i tried to stray from insulting faith no more cuz our opinions on each band is not important.
