we use 'stone' all the time...to me, describing yourself as "190 pounds" is an alien concept.

then again, people on continental europe normally describe themselves in kgs rather than in pounds or stone.

yeah, people seem to be trying to trash the diet because of this.. apparently he had a heart condition, plus like you said, he ws 70, and probably not following his diet at the time. but people like to make simplistic conclusions, especially if its tearing something down.

atkins was fat = atkins diet doesn't work.

i don't know enough about it to say very much. i will however say its hilarious that KFC et al are claiming to be supremely healthy on the momentum of protein heavy, low carb atkins mania.

i think the commercials are just advertising the chicken that you can buy separate. i read on a fitness website that KFC had to pull the commercials because of how ridiculous they were. all that chicken is fried and just not healthy.
