Angry Don't expect to hear from horns n halos or hob goblin anytime soon...

I've been having problems with porn crap downloaded to my computer from one or both of them downloading crap, so my computer's been crashing a lot because of spyware, porn pop ups, etc...

I've told them not to, I've showed them what to do...but yet my computer is still filled to the brim with all this porn shit.

Paul called me and told me that he tried going on it and it crashed again like always from the popups, so he tried to restart it and when the desktop came up, there were no icons on it, nothing was open, it was an old desktop picture (not the new one I put up a few days ago) and he tried to Ctrl+Alt+Del to see what program wasn't responding, and there were no programs except Explorer and bmd or someshit.

So I don't know what to do, I'm going to give the computer to my step dad to see if he can fix it, and if he can't, I'm going to have Paul, JP and Ari pitch in and buy me a nice new laptop.

If all of my files are gone, I'm going to go ballistic and kill someone at random, then I'm going to make Paul, JP, and Ari pitch in and buy me a nice new laptop.

I'm gonna fucking kill someone if all my shit is gone. I have a migraine right now just thinking about it. I don't know what the fuck they did to it.

Did you run Ad-Aware and Spybot? Also, using IE is a really bad idea if they're going near porn sites, because it allows them to install all kinds of crap

No I didn't because I don't know what those things are. I've never had a problem in my life with spyware and shit like that. I know not to download anything, I know not to click on pop ups, and I don't like porn. All of a sudden everything explodes because everyone thinks my computer's a free-for-all. I don't know what the hell to do. I'm gonna cry.

Ok, download this
http://www.lavasoftusa.com/support/download/
(any of the Adaware 6 links)

Then download this
http://www.safer-networking.org/inde...&page=download

I usually run AdAware first, then spybot. They both backup anything you delete, so if there's a problem you can restore. Now go go go!

It's a software issue, buying a new laptop is a little extreme since you can just reinstall the OS if needed.

Also you might want to consider installing the Google Toolbar. It had a built-in popup blocker that you can enable.

Thanks a lot. I have to wait till I get home to do it at home...but what if all my files are gone? Is that possible for whatever's on there to erase everything?

Well I'm a little pissed right now anyways and freaking out...and a few days ago I kinda screwed up my arrow keys because I got mad at the popups of 12 year old girls sucking big cocks consuming my computer...

I just don't want to lose my files. I'll die.

It's possible, but unlikely. I'd say you have more chance of losing things from having to turn the computer off without being able to actually shut it down, but you're probably safe (I have to do that a lot). You just might need to repair your windows installation if it's all screwy, but try clearing all the crap off first, it might make a huge difference

They've been working and stuff...JP (hob goblin) doesn't really go on the computer much anymore...and Ari (horns n halos) goes online in the afternoon but I don't know if he even comes to phoria anymore. He does have livejournal though www.livejournal.com/users/alias_is_nobody

They were in the studio for 6 hours yesterday. They got 3 songs done. I heard the unmixed version and even that's incredible. I'm so excited and happy for them
