I need serious advice.

so I'm doing this Math Modeling shitass i hate life competition with a team of 2 other people. We started saturday, and have worked for 6 hours at least on this fucking problem each day..

today, I was working on an excel setup to model our answer, and another teammate was starting on the writup.

So anyway, I borrowed a laptop at the library so that we could work in a quiet study room, and every 2 hours, you have to check in the laptop and then check it back out, because they are retarded.

we are working for 2 hours on this, and I FINALLY figure it all out.. ALL of it.. when i realize it's time to turn in the stupid ass computer.. so i save my shit to the desktop, and shut the lid of the computer.. check it in, check it out...

get back, turn on the computer.... it fucking reset and deleted my work. everything's gone, and the understanding i had of it was all based on what i had already done.. that is.. to re-figure this shit out, is going to take forever.

other team mates have other things to do.. one has a capstone that's due tomorrow.. the other's an asshole.

I have to finish everything tonight.

Should I smoke a bowl before I start?

I can't understand why did it delete your stuff if as you said, it was saved to the desktop. The only reason for things to disappear is using a guest account that automatically cleans the desktop and temp files/ user settings, but that's not normal on a laptop.

it's all good.. i've recreated it all now..

the PC was set up to automatically kill anthing on it when shut down.. they just FAILED TO TELL ME THAT.

i screamed like a madwoman in my car on the way home.
