dude, its not actual tickets -- its an e-mail saying you MIGHT get a ticket. Therefore you need to find a person who is going without a 2nd person who got the original e-mail and line up super-early so you can get in. They sent out more e-mails then tickets they actually had.

they'll be standby tickets at the door being handed out around 11 or 12 or so. I DON'T think anyone will use them, though. You might get lucky. My sister got e-mailed tickets for thursday and she's not sure if she's gonna go.

Wait a sec...i'm having a hard time understanding this. What do you mean about the standby tickets? Are you saying that if I go and line up around 11:00 am they might give me a ticket even though I didn't get an email?

If your sister got an email, couldn't you just take her ticket...and then bring me as your second person?

I couldn't take her ticket because there are no tickets handed out. What you do is A) you e-mail conanintoronto@nbc.com B) they recieved about 20,000 e-mails C) about 4000 people got e-mailed back. The e-mail is for THAT specific person. It says "We are holding two tickets for you -- BUT we sent out more e-mails then tickets. therefore you should show up early and you get your tickets but you MIGHT get in." Basically it allows you the privlidge of waiting in line.

As it says:

An allotment of two tickets will be "reserved" per email chosen. Requests for more than 2 tickets WILL NOT BE HONORED. Ticket "reservations" are sent out in excess to seating capacity, please be advised that no "reservation" guarantees admission.

Audience line up time : no later than 3:15 pm, day of show you are assigned. Please be advised that lines may form earlier. First come, first served.

To pick up conanintoronto@nbc.com tickets: You must get on the appropriate line no later than 3:15 pm. To check in, you must bring your letter, and have your name and the email adress that the letter was originally sent to. You must stay in line in order to enter the theater.

However, according to www.nbc.com/conan it says re. standby tickets:

Stand by tickets will be given out the day of each show at 12 noon. A line will be formed outside the theatre entrance along the building and one stand-by ticket will be given out per person. You will be asked to re -form a line in an alternate area later in the day in numeric order. No ticket guarantees admission.

if not enough ppl show up who got sent tixs then you get to go in.

Though personally I the likelihood of that happening is somewhere between jack and shit. And jack left town .
