my roommate leaves every friday afternoon and comes back sunday night. it's so nice to have peace and quiet on weekends.

i only hate one of them. she's gone. my other one leaves thursday afternoons and comes home monday mornings, and my other one just randomly dissapears. The one who leaves on thursday has no friends, because she goes home EVERYWEEKEND. when she's here, she's either on the phone with her friends or talkign to them online w/her webcam. no joke. the only poeple she socializes with is us. she always comes up with bs reasons why she has to go home every weekend. "I really didnt want to go home this weekend but my brother has a basketball game". wtf? you moved out. you dont live there anymore, you're not obligated to do all the stuff you did in high school. she went to homecoming, and wil probably go to a prom. she lives here 3 1/2 days of the week. its rediculous.

I love when people go away to college, then go home every weekend, thus missing out on college alltogether. That always pissed me off when I was in school.

exactly. i don't get it at all. I'm ALWAYS the one who's here. I'll go away for the weekend once in a while, to visit friends. But I don't go home that often, considering how close it is and how I could get a ride every weekend.

the thing is, though. everyone here goes home on the weekend. this place is a ghost town every weekend. it's almost creepy. and really boring.

I go home every weekend. I hate where I live. If i had a choice, I would move home.

Maybe she is just home sick and needs a little more time to adjust. I mean, shes going to university, and was then *forced* in a way to move out so she could attend school. Poor girl

i do invite her out with me. she wasn't forced to go here at all. I asked her why she just didnt go to sac state and she said because she probably wouldn't go to class if she lived at home. she's not a very bright girl. it's hard to describe her.

I hate where I live, too. I DONT go home everyweekend because a.) I have crew and b.) i liked leaving home, and i dont exactly want to go home so much as i dont want to be here. if I went home, I probably wouldn't want to come back. I REALLY hate it here and I'm forcing myself to stay here and do well so that I can transfer and not come back in the fall. plus I DO have friends to hang out with. she doesnt, because she's never here and never makes any effort to meet people. she never really went to college.

I have 3 day weekends every weekend, and if I had a car, I'd go places. I used to go to the city, (SF), berkeley, the beach, and just drive around the hills on the weekend. I'm not homesick, so I don't go home, i just dont like it here so i go other places. It's reallyreally really pretty here, but socially it's a shithole. acedemically as well.

i have a four day weekend next weekend that I'm looking forward to. my parents are coming on friday to bring me my bike and we'll eat and that will be nice to see them. i have saturday practice and then my best friend is coming to get me and we're going to berkeley and then back to d-town to just relax all weekend.

okay so she comes home and tells me to open the drapes and then opens all the windows in the house. yes i agree that it's nice and sunny outside, but that doesnt mean it's warm.

then 3 minutes later she leaves, with all the windows open for me to shut becuase it's fucking cold. and a guarentee she won't be back for hours.
