-The Mystery Spot in Santa Cruz. It's supposably really fucked up, like, gravity works weird there or something (i'm a skeptic, havn't been there yet though) http://www.roadsideamerica.com/attract/CACRUspot.html -Winchester Mystery House in San Jose - this lady built and built and built shit untill she died because she believed it would bring her family back, or keep them around, or soemthing to that effect. It's basically just a really straqnge, huge house with staircases that just sort of lead to the celing, and doors on high er stories that just open to the open air outside.. and stuff like that. I also havn't been there. http://gocalifornia.about.com/librar.../aa091800a.htm

uh, we've got a place i just found out about called the underground subway in Raleigh that used to be these clubs and head shops that were all underground in the 60s and 70s. it was some kinna crazy hippie community down there that eventually died out and they closed it up, but it's still there so im dying to get a flashlight and jump down a gutter! all i could find out about it online after literally days off looking was that it existed and a few of the musicians that played at some of the clubs on archive sites for the musicians, like janis joplin |
