 loyola is a good school. try holding out though for more money. it's so early in the admissions process that they'll give you more if you ask for it...it's worth a try. |

Loyola = overrated
Going to a private school for undergrad studies = overrated. Wow $5,000 off year. So it's only $18K plus living in Chi-town a year. Yeah that's worth it. |

i like Loyola because of the religious aspect of it, even though I'm not a jesuit or a catholic. I like thier philosophy on learning. They have a very large active gay group on campus. They have an AMAZING location...right on the lake! I love Chicago, the 3 times I've been there, it was a great big city. It's clean! It's cold! I love cold. It's not Richmond, Virginia. It has a good history program, can send me to Vietnam for a semester for a reasonable price. It's just my dream school.

...my school is $30,000 a year... don't ask me why, but it is. I have a $15,000 scholarship from them, and a $9,000 one. Everything else is in loans...
 but this year, I'm applying for as many scholarships as i can at FastWeb....get some more money off. |
