it bugged me, for like, a month, but now its like "oooh! cigarettes are highly addictive! NO SHIT!" and the "don't poison us!" one is fucking gold.

if you look closely, the kid in the blue shirt is kinda thinking about smoking cuz he has a "hmmmmmm" look in his eyes, but the kid in the red shirt is like "NO!".

the kid in the blue shirt reminds me of that kid in "The Sixth Sense" who was pretending to be Halley Joel Osment's friend, who put his arm around him when he left for school for show & he was in the cough commercial. they look EXACTLY the same. its like "hey, you're good at putting arms around kids, do that in this picture!" the kids ones always make me laugh.

now smoking: tobacco use can make you impotent.

that's how you sell cigarettes, folks!

do they have to put those on their packs?
or are they just inept at the concept of trying to sell cigarettes?

not sure specifically, but its imposed by the government. they're getting seriously anti-smoking up here and this was just the first step. I can't smoke in restaraunts anymore and BARS are going to be next -- which is going to drive me nuts.

but the packs get to be fun after awhile. they still amuse me. In fact, one study said smoking sales went UP after these were introduced.

You didn't SERIOUSLY think that the tobacco companies put those warnings on there for fun did you?

Those are pretty cool actually - nice and graphic

afaik, restaurants in Hamilton are not completely non-smoking yet because when I go to a restaurant they still ask if I want to be seated in the smoking or non-smoking section....

really? that Italian place across from "My Buddys" downtown went non-smoking as did a few other bars, but there's one place in the mall that has a windowed off smoking section. can't remember names right now cuz I just woke up, you know, its in jackson . . . facing the convention center . . . has this fucked up sign . . .

dammit, now this is gonna bug me . . .

this is my fav cause it looks so stupid- its true of course, but like the kid would really be standing there looking at her mom and acting like she's smoking too.

also that the guy dying of cancer looks like some 23 yrold punk with a goatee. These are pretty damn hardcore- they'll never fly here- too much money involved, and without deaths from cancer social security would be bankrupt

Haha, I didn't know there were so many. They were talking about making them larger - to cover at least half of the pack, but I guess that law hasn't gone through.
