Well, when Michigan beats the fuck out of OSU, both WSU and OSU will fall right out of it.

Looks like a OU/UT rematch is pretty possible. That would suck ass.

You forget...the reason for our piss poor record against them over the past decade was due to the shitty coaching of John Cooper, who was fired prior to last year. What did new coach Jim Tressel do in his first year? Beat a superior Michigan team.

Now that our talent is better....we're going to own them.
Meh.

If OSU wins the title, I'll kill myself. Because from the first time I saw them play I knew they were going to lose a game. I still think they are.

Unimpressed. The North Texas Mean Green have not allowed a point on defense in 13 quarters. Not a single point. They lead the nation in scoring defense at 12.6 per game allowed and are allowing less than 3 points per game in conference. That is crazy.\

Granted, they play in the sparest D-I conference ever - the Sun Belt. Still, they've played Texas, Alabama, TCU, Arizona, and South Florida this year in compiling those numbers.

That's the 2002-03 national champion Texas Longhorns to you guys.

Hey, my team my blows this year so I gotta jump on someone's bandwagon and I can't think of a better wagon to jump on then that of Mack Brown and the Burnt Orange.

Honestly, I'm much more impressed with Texas' three-week run of beating Iowa State, K-State and Nebraska, then with OSU beating Purdue, MN, and PSU. However, if OSU wins out they've got my respect and then some.

The Mack Brown comments are just a sad example of someone who obvioulsly knows a lot about college football buying into the sportswriter mentality.

Yes Mack Brown loses just about every huge game he plays in. But you don't compile a 10-win season year after year without winning some "big" games. And, UT was not exactly winning much of anything in the decade before Mack Brown came. Not consistently anway. A good year here and there but generally they were a so-so team under Mackovick and whoever was there before him.

UT has no more tests left to finish the season at 11-1. While I think Miami would beat Texas, I'd be more than confident if the Longhorns played the Buckeyes or Wazzu.

UT's biggest problem of late is play-calling. Visit www.gregdavissucks.com if you don't agree with me. He is a spare offensive coordinator.

The entire premise of any WSU fan is that if they win, they have to drink to celebrate, and if they lose they have to drink more to forget the team's troubles....i can guarantee you most of the people in the stands are too fucking drunk to watch the game.
i've worked concessions at the games and served all of them (not alcohol fortunately)*UUGH*

personally, i'm pretty happy for OSU, myself. also, i'd like to see them kick Miami(FL)'s ass in the championship, if they play well down the stretch). Northwestern, meh, they're having another sucky season(sad to see they've fallen so much after losing Damien Anderson + Kustok, their ex-QB), and i'm proud to see Northern Illinois(U.) is starting to get more and more recognition in the public and media(nice job to 'em for being Bowling Green(OH)). and finally, albeit the fact that NIU(N. Illinois) isn't ranked in the top 25 just yet, at least it did get 4 votes/points/?? in one of the 2 polls, and i'm very proud to see that.

at this point, the main teams i'm watching(+ that i'm hoping to see win it all) are OSU and the DAWGS.

Go Bucks!!!

And do you think Cooper would've EVER called that play on 4th and 1 with the game on the line?

I didn't think so either.

We're still not out of the woods yet, though. Illinois always plays OSU tough (I'll be at the game freezing my ass off) and Michigan, well, is always Michigan.
