my trip to japan was so crammed together I don't really remember anything specific about tokyo. I'd like to go back again sometime... it's such an awesome place to visit.

I didn't see any panties but you can at least buy porn cigarettes and beer from vending machines sitting on the street.

they have these huge underground "hotels" where your "room" is like a coffin. it's a bedded pod with a shelf, a tiny tv and a teeny microwave. i'm there

I've been taking Japanese lessons for 2 months. Fun.

I think I'll go there someday to teach English.

I hate anime though.

They have too much sex there though... oh well, not complaining.

there is a small cult in my school (read: the japanese majors) that wish ever so much to be japanese, it is really sad and annoying.

or maybe they want to be anime characters.. i don't know. but they annoy me.

japan is cool, japan culture is cool, but really.

yeah. I know what you are talking about there.

I knew 2 of them, they went to Japan for like 2 months and since it didn't live up to their otaku anime fantasy world, they just forgot about it.

I'm learning it because the language sounds cool and the writing system kicks ass and all these hot chicks ask me how to say things and they are like, "Oh! That sounds SOO cool!" Its worth it.

Also, for our class -- we were assigned a penpal person. Its fun actually --- I got this 19 year old girl and she's nice.

Anime is overrated though. I dunno but most people think that there is cute little schoolgirls walking the streets and nothing else. LOL.
