Last night I went to an art reception and rubbed elbows with the owner of the space while drinking free Alize and tonic.

-I may get permanent space for my photography
-He may hire me to create the identity of the gallery
-He is gay and extremely hot, and seemed semi-interested to get my number.

No, but I'm not holding my breath because we were all pretty drunk and people tend to talk a lot of nonsense when they're drunk.

There was a house-dj at the reception, so I think raver-boys might not be too big a problem.

Yesterday I was jogging around Town Lake and smiled when I noticed Jan Mirkin, Austin's ASCAP rep. jogging towards me. We drank wine once together and lounged at the Four Seasons. She probably doesn't remember me. She smiled back at least.

I got school off due to snow, thus get a chance to catch up on reading for a class. Then I'm watching Hackers tonight with a bunch of friends, and pizza. It'll be great. Today is getting an 8.0 for a day... only thing that could better it would be sex.

My day was somewhat shite. I slept through my alarm and missed my first class. Then, I waited in the bitter blowing snowstorm for a streetcar for 15 minutes before I started to walk to the subway station. Just as I was entering the station, a streetcar passed me. Got to my 11am class 25 minutes late and handed in the assignment on which I had stayed up late to finish the night before. Prof tells us that due to the extreme weather, he's now accepting assignmnets up until Wednesday. >:0

Actually, it was just a shitty morning, not enitre day. And now that I think about it, it wasn't that bad. Venting = good.

i had to work outside in -28C for eight hours today. well, it wasn't technically outside, but it was an unheated new construction site which was just as cold as outside since there were no windows or doors. it wasn't fun.
