I feel that it may be a good idea to try out having a message board for sports only. Think of all the possibilities... There would probably be more hockey, football, and baseball pools if there was a seperate board so all the sports fanatics did not have to weed through all this bullshit on the general board.

Hell, its something to think about!

There are really only a bunch of sports threads during big sports events time, as far as I can tell. Yeah there's a lot of baseball talk during the playoffs and world series, and the Superbowl is this coming Sunday so there's a lot of football now. But during regular season, there's as much sports talk as there is talk about everything else.

I've always had the impression that most people here were like me, people who never participated or cared about sports through high school and still don't really care.

Sure I may watch the occasional Leafs game but I still have little interest in it.

but seriously, all this shit you mentioned is specific. Sports cover a wide range of categories. I think the sports forum could hold its own.
