Ripped Up Jeans

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to rip up jeans so that there are little strings of the jeans in the cut. That's what I'm going for. I know, I know it's so 1980's but I want a pair of comfortable ripped up jeans.

Williams eyed her silently, enjoying the rush of adrenaline and amphetamines circuiting through his system. * I hope she puts up a good fight. I like it better that way.* he thought as he put one knee on the bed and started to move toward the defiant blonde backed into the corner.
Without warning, Cassy launched herself at him, her hands clawing his face, nails drawing blood across one cheek. In reflex, he swung around with the hand still holding the whisky bottle; it slammed into her temple and she gasped, collapsing on the bed at his knees.

Barely conscious, Cassy attempted to roll away from her attacker. Her vision faded in and out as she was vaguely aware of the hands that dragged her roughly to the center of the bed. Her brain screamed at her to resist, to fight, but her body wouldn't respond. Every limb felt weighted, too heavy to be moved. His intentions became crystal clear as he worked loose his belt and the buttons of his trousers.

Nausea rose in her throat as he ripped at her t-shirt, pulled roughly at her jeans, tearing the zipper from the denim in his haste.

"Don't...don't," her voice was rough and weak, her struggles useless. * I can't let him do this*, she thought, but in her present condition, she knew she couldn't stop him. Her consciousness faded in and out as she was dimly aware of being stripped of her jeans, the broken zipper slicing into her leg as he dragged them down.

" You...better kill...me, or I'll...kill... you," she gasped. * God, help me*, she pleaded silently as the weight of his body pinned her down, and she gagged.

The sweat of his body stung her skin, but she lay silent, unmoving. She attempted to focus her mind away from him, away from that room and what was about to happen to her.

Moments later, Williams suddenly rolled away from her with a ragged breath. In frustration he punched the wall with his fist. It was obvious to both of them that the drugs and alcohol in his system had taken away his ability to complete the act. *Thank God, thank God* Cassy breathed to herself as she slowly rolled as far as possible away from him.

Cassy watched him as he stood and gazed down at her. The madness in his eyes chilled her to the bone.

"I'm just tired right now. Things will be different when I get some sleep." He turned and picked up the discarded liquor bottle from the floor.

Pulling her torn clothing together as best she could, Cassy leapt from the bed, hoping to make it to the door, but a wave of dizziness left her lying on the floor instead. With one step, Williams grabbed her arm and lifted her off the floor with one hand, while he rearranged his own clothing with the other.

"You're just as bad as she was," he mumbled, sliding a fingertip down her bruised cheek and under her chin. "And we've got plenty of time to find out if you're as good as she was. You're not going anywhere."

He dragged Cassy across the room to a closet and roughly shoved her inside. Williams slammed the door, then stepped over and dragged a heavy chest across the carpet, wedging it against the door.

He stood in the room for several moments, breathing heavily from exertion, frustration and adrenaline. *I need a drink.* he said to himself. Turning on his heel, he strode out of the bedroom and headed for the bar.

A small sliver of light shined under the closet door; the room beyond was silent. Cassy sat propped against the rear wall, fatigued beyond imagination, pain and terror her only companions in the dark silence. Her body screamed for a drink of water. She wondered how long the human body could go without food or water. She realized that she had lost all track of time, and she had no idea where she was.

She also realized that she could die here, in this dark room, and no one would know. All he had to do was leave, just leave her locked up here, and she would not be found until it was much too late. No one knew she was in trouble; hell, no one even knew where she'd been that weekend.

Dana had been right. Her ex-husband was a drug-addicted alcoholic having some kind of mental breakdown. He was flying headlong into self- destruction, and he was taking Cassy with him.

*Has anyone even missed me yet? And what if they did? They wouldn't know where to look.* Her despair and the hopelessness of her situation hung around her shoulders like a cloud, and she rested her head on her knees in defeat. *Maybe by now, someone is looking for me, or for Dana...."*

Thoughts of her murdered friend shattered the last bit of resolve, of self-control she had left; her shoulders shook as she could no longer suppress the tears. Cassy wrapped her arms around her knees in the dark and cried until her chest ached. Finally she fell into an exhausted sleep; her last thoughts a silent prayer for rescue. Or for death.

And I have worn jeans...I think once in the past year and a half. I'm too lazy to wear them enough to get the jeans all comfortable and stuff.
