Anyone who's played Zelda Windwaker (Quick question).

There's this one part (early in the game I think) where you get to the Great Deku Tree for the first time. Then these green and red things pop all over his face, and you're supposed to get them down. How do you do it? I've tried throwing bait and using that claw and it's not working.

I'm sure it's something easy that I'm just not thinking about at the moment.

i'm not sure what your task is, but i remember there was a bunch of leaves and those things that shoot you in the air around the deku tree (to the left i think) that you use to climb up into the tree.

No. When I got on the lilly pad thing in front of the deku tree, those things popped out. Then that little fairy that talks to you said something like, "Don't you remember how to jolt them off?"
with emphasis on the last three words.

There's a potion shop I went into but I couldn't climb the little stumps for some reason.
