i remember my freshmen year of college my mom called the room at 9:00 and i answered and she said "i thought you had class at 9:00 what are you doing home" i kept thinking why the fuck are you calling me.

My mom does that. She's told me to go to sleep a couple times and just last week she called from the kitchen to help with dinner. She's getting old and we have stairs, I guess.

my mom did that to me a lot at first too. what the crap. she also calls from her cell phone because she thinks that it saves money because we have free roaming or something, even though it's a local call

my parents will call me on a sunday at like 1 in the afternoon and when i answer all sleepily, they'll be like "were you still asleep? how late were you up last night? why were you up so late? what were you doing?" do they really have to ask? I'm in college. there are about ten million things that i couldlve been doing on a saturday night that would keep me up late and none of them are things that take thought to figure out.

sometimes i call my brother's cel phone or room phone when we're both in the house because i'm too lazy to get up.

my mom and i call each other all the time when we're both at home b/c we're too lazy to actually find each other in our house, and we dont' want to yell b/c baby aidan might be sleeping. but mostly it's b/c we're lazy. and it's free to call each other.

My mom calls me every tuesday night during my class and leaves me an angry message for not answering the phone.
Every week. It's a 28 week long course. She hasn't missed one yet.

My mom called me at 9.30 in the morning. I went to bed at about 6am. She knows that even on weekdays when I have class I am not up at 9.30...

And of course, since she called, I was awake, and my roomate was watching Bowling for Columbine at a loud volume... so I didn't get back to sleep until way later.
