I really enjoyed it, but I think it was partly because I am a huge fan of the older nightmare on elm street/ friday the 13th films

The shot of Jason walking out of the water is pretty badass. the Freddy wink is kinda fun. But that's probably the most self-aware moment in the movie. Most of the time it plays it straight with the menace and the coliding of these two horror movie icons which is why the flick works. Its a gigantic comic book come to life. But its not too wink-wink-nudge-nudge-knowwhatImean. That little bit at the end crosses the line into self-parody.

I just like the look on the guy's face when the Freddy fingers pop out of him in the alternate ending: probably the only decent acting he did throught the movie.

I wish they hadn't killed off his crazy buddy from the nuthouse so soon, they should have kept him around he was cool. "Want some advice? COFFEE! MAKE FRIENDS WITH IT!"

Though in my geek head, ALIEN VS. PREDATOR this summer will own every single other VS movie ever. Wait and see.
