On average, how much money do you spend on bad habits per month? - Page 2

it used to be around 100 for drugs, but it's down to about 20-40 now, and people give me alcohol most of the time.. so prolly about 50.

Someone else spends a lot of money on weed I smoke. There was a time just over a year ago when I was spending $500/mo easily on alcohol. Now I generally only buy a six pack of nice beer and a few bottles of wine a month, and the rest of the money goes to drinks at a restaurant or two. I never go to bars lately. I'm sure I'll restart sometime, but my body feels a lot better now without it.

I spend about $400-$600 a month on a few different leisure activities....but I do not consider them to be "bad habbits".

Caffeine (I count this as a bad habit): Maybe $20/month for the coffee for the coffeemaker (husband and I) and maybe another $25 for coffee out of the house.
Alcohol: I buy a bottle of wine maybe once a month. And it's the cheap stuff, so maybe $9/monoth.

I'm a bartender so i can drink for free while I work.

But I still go out a lot - $200 to $300 on booze a month sounds about right.

i leech off my friend jason for the grass. and i bought some dramamine last night.

i guess my most costly "bad habit" is taking long drives to nowhere in the middle of the night.

I buy a ton of cookbooks. That's almost a bad habit at this point with the amount it's costing me. :erm

Another bad habit: Buying way too many gorgeous vegetables I'll never use whenever I go grocery shopping.
