Mid-2003 left WWE over direction of Mr. America character. Wrestled in Japan for a couple dates. Agreed in principle to appear at a November PPV for NWA-TNA, even filming an angle with Jeff Jarrett to promote it.

Late-03 decided to have knee surgery, postponing the TNA commitment.

Just this week TNA said that the Hogan deal is on indefinite hold, but the PPV will now go on in March without him. Rumors are that he'll be at WMXX. We'll see.

In reality, he's probably tanning and stroking his ego at home.
