yeast infections are commonly caused by lack of oxygen since yeast creates it's energy through anaerobic respiration. this would happen if your thong was shoved WAY up there, or you didn't change it often enough which would allow the bacteria to collect where it shouldn't.
thongs aren't that comfortable. the fabric going up your ass is just too much for me.
i like the g-string only after getting one that fits perfectly because then, and only then!, does it not bother me.
