i think that the simple problem is that all along we've been eating far too many carbs for the way we live now. we may have used that much energy in our past, but the industrial revolution has allowed us all to become pretty lethargic.
look at the food guide: http://diabeticgourmet.com/images/fo...-printable.gif 6 - 11 servings of high-carb foods? i think that's pretty rediculous unless you're getting a significant amount of exercise each day. |

I wish i had to go on a diet. my metabolism is so quick it is really hard for me to gain any weight.
