did you read the short story about the dude who was stranded on the island with a fuckton of cocaine? i can't remember the name or it or the collection it was from, but it had a great ending. only good SK ending i can think of.

my favorires are misery, different seasons, and the running man. he did a collection of short stories called nightmares and dreamscapes too that i thought was pretty cool.

I actually haven't read any of his short stories (I've been meaning to though).

i predict here and now, that he himself will be sitting in the topmost floor of the tower, and he'll manage to link all of his stories to de DT series in the remaining 2 books.

my fav's are:

the dark tower series
the girl who loved tom gordon
the talisman books (even though they really belong to the DT series...)

of the bachman books the long walk is definitly the best. although rage is pretty good too.

btw: eyes of the dragon is linked to the DT series too (as is pretty much every of the newer books.)

Yeah, three times, he is sooooo wearing out that storyline.

Anyway, my favorites are:
The Dark Tower series
The Green Mile
The Shining

"Gerald's Game" is kind of twisted. it's about a woman locked to the bed after a game of dirty sex involving handcuffs goes bad when the husband dies. :erm

i'll always hold "The Running Man" close to my heart.

TALISMAN starts out great, but the ending is a big letdown
