I keep going up every year, hopefully this year I get over $1000, that'd be quite nice.

I got $950 last year. I haven't done my taxes yet this year, but I think the provincial government is going to anally rape me.

Until last year I always got around 1000+. Last year I got 500. I'm expecting it to be lower this year.

Actually, make that "employers." Both of 'em.

Not that it matters to know how much I made, because I do, but still.

i didn't receive a w-2 yet, and i probably won't even do my taxes, but i looked at my past paycheck stubs and if i did do my taxes i'd get 20 cents.

I don't think so, I think you just claim however much you got.

If you do them online (http://taxes.yahoo.com), or with Quicken, there will be a question asking if you've taken out student loans... I know it asked me.

It's not... you could get away with not doing them, but you could possibly get audited. My dad didn't do them for a long time, and ended up having his wages garnished. My fiance's mom hasn't done them in 6 years and will probably get audited eventually, considering she's not exactly poor.

Hmmph.

You should receive a 1098-E Student Loan Interest Statement from your loan servicer if your interest was greater than $600. This will show the total amount of interest you paid on your student loan.
