ok...im running WIN98 and i installed the card and it works fine until the internet starts to connect and my whole computer freezes. i have no clue what to do. i traded PCI slots and still the same. i heard that changing the IRQ of the slots but i have no clue how to do that. i know some people on here know alot about computers. thanx

I've never actually had an IRQ conflict, so I've never had to fix one. Right-click on My Computer and click properties, go to Device Manager, find your card and check the Resources tab. You might see a conflict in there, and be able to pick a free IRQ. The other place to go is into the BIOS when you boot up (press delete when it tells you to). It should be a firaly simple process, but... heh. |
