Default SB AUDIGY 2 problems, please help?

ok...im running WIN98 and i installed the card and it works fine until the internet starts to connect and my whole computer freezes. i have no clue what to do. i traded PCI slots and still the same. i heard that changing the IRQ of the slots but i have no clue how to do that. i know some people on here know alot about computers. thanx

Soundblaster cards are shit. You should have gotten the Turtle Beach Santa Cruz.

Oh you silly...

I've never actually had an IRQ conflict, so I've never had to fix one. Right-click on My Computer and click properties, go to Device Manager, find your card and check the Resources tab. You might see a conflict in there, and be able to pick a free IRQ. The other place to go is into the BIOS when you boot up (press delete when it tells you to). It should be a firaly simple process, but... heh.
