I stopped reading identity about 1/4 the way through. Couldn't get in to it. The last waltz would be my next pick....good?

wow. beg your pardon- it's Farewell Waltz. i suppose that's what the blending of alcohol, time and media confusion results in. i read it a couple of years ago- so from that standpoint- i felt it was different from his other works in that he hinted philosophical standpoints rather than entered the book as the writer to explain them. i enjoyed his approach towards the structure of the story- the intertwining of the characters. essentially the plot is somewhat predictable- you know it's building up to this grand finale so you can close the book and sigh- as if you've accomplished putting a puzzle together or you know, whatever- but if i recall correctly, that's all it does. still worth reading, though.
