Yes it is Summer, and a fricking hot one (well, if you're in Queensland anyway). I'm pissed off because it's going to be raining profusely on Sunday (Big Day Out day). Guess I'll have to drink lots of beer to console myself (because spirits will be mega-expensive!)

that's pretty cool. one of my relatives visited Australia i think 5-10 years ago, and gave our family a boomerang(sp?) as a present a long time ago(can't remember today if it was as a birthday or christmas present). i remember actually going to a park in Chicago once when i was younger and threw it too, it was actually a lot of fun to do, personally(i probably should get mine out and throw it again one of these days, maybe sometime during spring...).

We dont keep kangaroos as pets cause they are all in the bush or out back or petting zoos
We dont have an out back steaj house but we do have lonestar steak house and saloon.
And yes no one realy lives in central australia most people live on the coast. It one of the biggest shocks people get when they come here cause of the small population that we have. Also Western Australia is the biggest state in the world beating texas except no one realy lives there cause its prety much desert and the people who do live there have to live underground cause its so hot
