CARROLL, Iowa - Former Illinois Sen. Carol Moseley Braun (news - web sites) dropped out of the presidential race Thursday and endorsed Howard Dean (news - web sites) as "a Democrat we can all be proud to support."

I've always liked her. Not that anyone cares.

I didn't know a whole lot about her. I really liked her on the show last night. I also appreciated her positive question at the last debate. She asked if the nominees would would support the candidate that wins, no matter who it is and everybody raised their hand.

I worked on her '98 Senate campaign. I used to like her, until she started attacking Edwards. In last two debates, she went after Edwards during the part where the candidates were allowed to ask one other candidate a question. And both times, we sat and wondered who was paying her to go after Edwards. I knew Dean was the one behind it.
