Default ITT We discuss how the WWE can improve

-Get rid of Mark Henry, he sucks in every way
-More trades between Raw and Smackdown
-Being THE Undertaker back (apparently they are)
-Resolve the WWF thing with those wildlife fuckers
-Set it up so PPV's are once again special....why would we get excited about HHH-HBK at the Rumble when we saw it on Raw?

Oh well, i was a bigger fan years ago - now i'm just a regular fan who criticises everything they do and hardly marks out........

Discuss

-have one of the world titles change hands on weekly tv. it's been soooooooooooo long since that happened. if they want to rebuild an audience they have to get ratings for their tv shows up and ppv buys should follow.
-shake-up the world title scene on raw, and keep it shook-up for a significant period of time. triple h has been booked as "that damn good" for so long that no one ever feels like a threat to him. the only person he hasn't made look like an unworthly amateur over the past two years is shawn michaels. get the title off him for at least 6 months and 2 major feuds over the belt. it's at the point where the audience knows it's always his belt and sometimes he lends it out for 30-days so he can make small in-roads on his plethora of serious injuries. as much as he'd love to be a classic champ, this isn't the 70's and year-long title reigns just don't fly anymore.
-book cruiserweights the same as everyone else. have a cruiserweight win a major title and don't make it out to be a crazy fluke or a lucky streak. everyone and their mother thinks the smaller guys are more entertaining. at least give us a decent and competitive cruiserweight division.
-fire everyone over 350 pounds. if that's too much to ask, at least axe the big show, rikishi and mark henry.
-scrap the announce teams and hire 8 new guys, or maybe 9 if they want to keep 3-man on raw, which is actually a good idea aside from the 3 men they picked for the job. jim ross's particular brand of laughable bullshit has lost its charm. the king is inexplicibly on the one brand of the two with a serious women's division, his sexist schtick takes away from every good women's match on raw (of which there are a lot). michael cole is an all-around horrible announcer and, i'm assuming, an equally horrible person, there is no reason to keep him around. the worst thing about hearing al snow and tazz announce is knowing they still have gas in their tanks and should still be in the ring (and they suck at announcing, moreso snow than tazz). the coach is just like michael cole, only kinda black. the velocity twins should be sealed in oil-barrels and burried under the wtc memorial so will will never forget all the people who have died from bloodloss because they started bleeding from the ears after listening to those two.
-leave stacy kiebler alone! stop trying to make her get implants, it would ruin her. in fact, stop making ALL the girls get progressively larger implants.
-fire everyone who can't touch their toes. aside from a few gelatenous blobs, whom i mentioned earlier, i'm looking squarely at scott steiner.
-put world title on the following people over the course of this year: john cena, chris benoit, chirs jericho and booker t.
-give ultimo dragon a tv match every once in a while. why spend money on a fucking living legend then never use him?
-it's ok to bring back THE undertaker, it's even ok to feud him against kane, but for the love of god don't give him back his hhh-esque deathgrip on whatever show he comes back to.
-make having a member of their roster win the royal rumble a priority for the general managers. the winner essentially gives his show the main-event of wrestlemaina, they should fucking say that at least once.
-keep stephanie off tv. for good. keep paul heyman on as smackdown gm and let him do some booking. just don't put him in charge of the payroll.

- don't let anyone with the last name McMahon wrestle ever again
- give John Cena a shot at the title
- stop fucking midcarders like RVD and Booker T around otherwise they'll be gone in a few months

I stopped watching when they bought out WCW. It was downhill before that and the 'Shane buys WCW angle' just fell flat. Plus, I git very tired of seeing Jericho jobed out ALL the time. Plus, Stone Cold left again. That, and Wrestleline.com went down. Meh.

I forgot that wrestling even happened until I read this thread.

I really think the WWE will improve only when Vince relinquishes some of his creative control to others, and others specifically not in his family. I believe Vince (and the McMahons in general) is out of touch with what the fans want. Vince has always been about the big, physical specimen. That has never, nor will it change. It's why we're subject to tools like Mark Henry, Big Show, John Heidenreichenreichen, and others. Meanwhile, we have folks like Chris Benoit (who better get the fucking title before he retires), Chris Jericho, Mysterio, Guererro, Matt Hardy, and the Hurricane who languish in mid-card status because Vince can't seem to fathom the idea that David can beat Goliath.

I'm seeing Smackdown in Minneapolis in a week and a half. I haven't watched the show in a few months. For the most part I have no idea what is going on, but I see that Hardcore Holly is suddenly a contender. WTF? Does anyone care about Holly? I'll find out, I guess.

Isn't Benoit the first entrant? It's been a couple years since the last 'first entrant is the winner' angle, so it must be overdue.

I stopped caring years ago when the ppv's stopped having bonus nudity. It use to be so cool, every ppv you had at least one hawt chick getting naked "accidently".

Like i said before PPV's are so less special now...'cause nothing is really shocking anymore and it seems that every week before a PPV, we will see the two main eventers go at it in a tag team match on Raw/Smackdown.....whats the deal?

Stop charging $40/month for the PPV. When your target audience is kids (and let's face it, that's their main market, kids and young teens) and parents have to foot the bill, $40 seems a bit much per month in today's economy.

i think goldberg has come a long way in fleshing out his in ring style since coming to wwe (the mma-style gives him a lot more to do in the ring for longer matches without comprimising his signature offense), but he'd need to develop it a lot more before i'd go for him over benoit in any match. especially with lesnar, who i still think is developing (not that he isn't very good already). even though lesnar and goldberg could probably have a pretty good match that could be built into a spectacle, you still have the barrier of the shows being split, which is a big thing to overecome if they want to do this thing in 2 months. i guess the obvious thing would be to trade goldberg for the undertaker, which sets up two big-name matches for WM.

there is one very obvious dreamatch left to do with bg, and wwe alluded to it on the most recent episode of confidential. they interviewed austin and asked if he could only do one more stunner, who would be on the recieving end. he said goldberg, of course. i don't think they're going that way, at least not for this year's WM
