I am completely amazed at myself for surviving college. It's not like it was that bad or THAT hard, but it was bad enough and hard enough and I feel like a fucking saint for sticking it out. That said, I did truly enjoy it 50% or the time. But that other 50%...

UCI accepted me back in today. I'm going back to school in March after being in and out of community college for a couple years.

i honestly have no idea how i pull it off, but i miss a lot of class, put things off till the night before and generally don't worry much about school and i still manage to pull 70's and 80's. whatever!

I'm back on campus. I'm not supposed to be, though, so I'm hiding outin my dorm not turning on any lights so I don't get caught. Just got back from the gym. 2 weeks of Rowing Boot Camp. fun stuff.

classes don't start till the 26th, though.

got my grades for last semester, fucking biology. I pissed on that class and still pulled a C. but seeing as two of my classes were pass/fail, it brought my gpa down to 2.6. shit. I would've had a 3.5

oh, but this is a bitching thread.

I'm kind of scared. um... for grad school, 9 units is full-time. I'm taking only the three classes, 600 (intro to graduate study) 700 (a seminar on Faulkner that I had to get permission to get into as you are not supposed to take seminars until you have taken 600), and some number on British Romantic poetry and its medium. I"m kind of nervous because all of the profs are, basically, the toughest in the department. And it'll be tough reading Faulkner after Faulkner - as much as I love him. I guess that's why they call it grad school.

I'm also going to be tutoring two classes this semester. I did just one last semester and that was a lot, but i need the $$. bummer.
