This is true, but those same few percentage points for people making over $1 million a year are worth a hell of a lot more. Which makes the tax cuts so frustrating; it's fucking obvious that trickle-down economics doesn't really work to either really kickstart the economy or promote more equality--which, when it was first implemented in the 1930s, was the whole idea to begin with. Basically, it's Republicans' way of staying in bed with big business in much the same way that Democrats are frequently in bed with trial lawyers. yeah, i heard about Roy Barnes(the Georgia governor) losing, and i thought that was pretty sad. i mean, going into the 2002 election, he was actually favored to win(and had a bigger war chest, too!).
