Shitty film dialogue.

When I went to the cinema a few weeks ago they showed the preview for Kevin Costner's latest cinematic disaster, "Open Range". I can't find a transcript online so I'll have to do it from memory; one of the lines went roughly like this:

Robert Duvall: "How long have we been riding together?"
Kevin Costner: "'Bout ten years."
Robert Duvall (meaningful look): "You know what they call that... they call that a decade."

Cue inspirational music.

Seriously, what the fuck? What does that even mean? I can't figure it out.

The whole film has dreadful dialogue, really. But that's the most infamous quote.
