Arrow Why isn't anyone talking about the Non-Prophets

Maybe I missed it, but I haven't heard anyone talking about "Hope:" this album is by far the best hip-hop I've heard from 2003. Am I alone on this?

that album is ass. sure, there's some nice lines here and there ("i go to fugazi shows requesting minor threat songs") i just hate sage francis's delivery, so i'm probably biased... but the stale production sounds like i could have made it myself with fruityloops and the choruses are embarassing.

well, obviously i can't change your mind, but atmosphere? seven's travels was really weak, a snorefest with the occasional good song.

i don't think it's a great album by any means, but it's still better than Hope.

oh, actually Soul-Junk's 1958 is the best whiterap album of the year. even though there's sometimes stuff about Christian faith mixed in... it's just crazy.

wouldn't that be funny if record stores would seperate the white and black hip hop into different sections? kind of a reverse segregation movement to keep those white kids away from the tupac.
i'll be sure to check that one out.
