Unhappy I'm not that good of a present wrapper.

My gifts all look lumpy, and the edges don't line up, and the folds aren't crisp.

At least the paper is just going to be torn from them anyway.

I know. I need to queer it up when I have my tape and scissors. This is where I'm supposed to excel.

It was intended to delay the surprise another three to seven hours.

Even when they're crazy, irregular shapes. The only things I don't like are when you can see the inside of the paper, or when you end up with a tiny gap you can't close, so you have to stick in a tiny extra piece

oh christ i hate that. if it happens- i tend to rewrap the entire thing. my favorite is wrapping cylindrical shapes- i end up taking too much time to create pretty folds and usually see that my effort went unnoticed as the person shreds the paper to a thousand pieces or rips it right off. :erm

Wait, is "present wrapping" in this thread some kind of euphemism for wearing a condom? Because I suspect it is, and I believe that you're all talking in code.

It's so hard to keep up with you, netphoria. I feel so out of the loop.

You could make a short film about someone who wraps empty boxes, but nobody understands that the wrapping is the gift
