San Antonio doesn't suck as much as I thought it did.

I went downtown today and walked around and saw The Alamo, The Riverwalk, The Tower of the Americas, and Hemisphere Plaza and remembered how pretty and unique this city is.
I've talked so much shit about it and now I feel bad.

i lived on the outskirts of the city from '94-'96. i went back for a visit in '99 and there were shopping centers like right next to my neighborhood. it blew my mind how much the city had grown in three years...

one time i was walking on the ledge of the bricks on the riverwalk at night. and there was a lit up sign coming up ahead but i stayed on the ledge because i am short and the sign went above my head. so i kept walking and hit my head on the black metal that was around it. i had a huge bump so my mom bought me icecream.
