If you're gonna have a ton of friends over all the time, get Mario Kart as it's a great party game. Of not, I say Simpsons Hit & Run.

Simpsons is more for the BIG Simpsons nerds who know every little tid bit.

Mario Sunshine, if you want a good platformer, and it takes plently of time to finish,

Mario Kart DD is you want a "younger", fun racing game, that you and your friends could all play.

in that case you probably don't want to get mario sunshine... it's a great game but it can be pretty challenging sometimes.

I've heard the simpsons is pretty good but you should probably make your decision on that depending on how much of a hardcore simpsons fan you are.

I just bought prince of persia and it's probably one of my favorite games this year. It's not too hard either... they give you hints on what to do through visions the prince has and you can rewind time up to 10 seconds ago if you screw up and die doing something. It's so much fun running around the levels and combat looks amazing. I would give that one a rental at least (if you have a lot of spare time you could probably beat it... it takes about 10-12 hours).

co-op mode in mario kart is amazing, where you have 2 people controlling one kart. it's so much fun and it sucked away more hours out of the lives of the people on my floor than we would care to admit. The game can be challenging if you want to unlock everything... but you don't really need to do that. I think you really need to be playing with other people to get the most out of it though... single player isn't as fun. Of course if you don't have many friends that would play mario kart I'm sure my roommates and I would always be up for an online challenge

pfff. i paid $18 for it. i'd want to sell it for more than 10.
