it's not about whether it's stupid or not. jeez. they should recognize third parties and if they can recognize the greens they can recognize the libertarians.

It's all part of a plan to attatch a stigma to third parties by calling them independent, thus perpetuating the 2 party system.

Do you want the puppet on the left, or the puppet on the right? Oh, you want that puppet. The one that's been istting in the corner since the Carter administration collecting dust. Go ahead. THROW YOUR VOTE AWAY!

no. they're all on the ballots as libertarians and cnn.com calls them the right thing but all the news stations call them independent. they do the same thing to reform party candidates.

Local news stations are almost as evil as politicians.

I don't really care about actual real life events in politics. I really never did. I'm more intrested in political theory than political application. However, I've been more turned off of politics recently because of this class I took last semester "Introduction to Mudslinging and Misinformation" (it was supposed to be Mass Media and Public Opinion) taught by George W. Bush's gubenatorial campaign co-oradinator. You can just imagine what kind of horrible scumball this guy was. I got an A in it, which even further horrified me.

I didn't even know Oregon was putting forth a "universal" health care thing. It's going to be ruined by Republicans anyway, they'll sabotage it. I guess. Universal health care is a great step forward, and it doesn't surprise me in the least that Oregon is the front runner. Logical, reasonable people live in Oregon. Well, except for the Portland Trail Blazers. However, I'm not sure how much an individual state can do concerning something as big as health care.

At what point did you become such a socialist, Rhino? I remember back in the day you used to slam Soma33 for being a Nader supporter because of the whole globalization argument. You were a huge Democrat. What happened? College?
