What are some easy cover songs that would sound good on an acoustic. I'm looking for songs with not too many parts since I tend to screw up songs with lots of changes. Disarm is a good example of what kind of songs I'm looking for, but I know enough pumpkin songs to play a whole set, so give me some non-pumpkin ideas. Hell, if you have some good tablature, that would help too.

White Stripes - Hotel Yorba
3 chords. Lots of Oasis stuff, if you like them. |

I'm just starting to play too, so this is what I've been playing:
a lot of early beatle songs. and I second Hotel Yorba and Oasis, heh and Boxcar Racer's ( )"Letters to God" is pretty easy...just Em->G for the verse and Em->C->G->Am for the chorus.and Coldplay's Green Eyes is good if you can get that Bm chord. I suck at the guitar man. |
