Beliefs about Westerners

Things Thai people believe about Westerners are:

a. They're big, hairy, clumsy, and smell like meat.

b.They're ill-mannered, barbaric hotheads.

c. Westerners talk excessively about sex, yet they're puritanical when it comes to the act itself.

d. Western women are enormous but pretty. They dress immodestly, talk too loudly and lose their tempers like the men.

e. Regardless about specific nationalities, the men are aggresive "ugly americans" who think that merely being Western and male makes them superior.

f. While friendly on the surface, they care more about facts, figures and profits than about people and feelings.

shit i had something in that book about what people in thailand/laos/etc think of the american medical system but i lent the book to my mom. hmph. heh i can . yeah later though.

It's pretty obvious they're reffering to the US judging from the term "ugly americans". Canada obviously doesnt count because... well they're just a big version of san francisco and i doubt those stereotypes are talking about mexico or any south american country.
