Disappointed With 'Elf'

It goes without saying that I have horrible/unconventional taste, but I did not enjoy this movie at all. I finally went because a girlfriend of mine wanted to go and I kept on hearing good things about it. I was really hoping for a comedy, or even a feel-good movie, I mean, I saw Love Actually twice, I can enjoy a heart-warming movie. But this had neither. It was all choppy and jumped from story to story too quick and the ending just seemed rushed and thrown together. I only had one good laugh. I dunno. Was anyone else disappointed?

i think people are so desperate for good holiday movies that when one comes out that isn't 100% horrendous people jump all over it just by default.
